Recommendations For Advancing Your Soul

Along my travels I learned that if you are not growing as a person, you are decaying. Some believe that you can be sitting still and doing neither, but I don’t. So a little over 2 years ago I was decaying. I didn’t know it at the time, but it’s clear now. I had been growing for a few years and then reversed course for the next few years. And for the last 2+ years I have been growing mentally, spiritually, and physically and life is better than ever. And below is a simple list of the tools I used to get from point A to B.

My first step was to go to the Basic Seminar hosted by PSI Seminars. It is a 4 day event and was a real eye opener to the path I was on. The cost was $425 and offered a refund if I wasn’t happy with it. The seminar was one of the most amazing things I have done and I recommend it without any reservations. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll see plain as day who you really are because odds are, you don’t know yourself like you think you do. And I saw people who were in therapy for years have major breakthroughs in the span of a couple days. This seminar is a HUGE shortcut to finding yourself. And let me clarify a few things. I know some people that think that PSI Seminars is a cult. “That crazy Greg is in a cult!” Well, it is not a religious based group, it is very spiritual though and fits well with religious minded people as well as athiests. Finding strength in yourself, I believe, is a powerful thing. Thinking that if you go to a seminar that you’ll lose your free will and shave your head and drink the Cool-Aid is a silly thought. I have free will and if I don’t like it, I’ll leave! I am in control of myself! Others do not control me! The seminars encourages thinking for yourself, which I know is discouraged with sects and religions.

After that I signed up for the next Seminar which is called PSI 7. It’s a 7 day seminar which takes place near Napa Valley in California on a huge ranch. I took this with my 2 sisters, soon to be wife, aunt, and brother in-law. Wow, what an amazing experience! I thought the first seminar was big for me, but this was much more intense! Some highlights included setting a date to get married and discovering I wanted kids, admitting I was an alcoholic and I stopped drinking, and much, much more.

And so I went on to the next seminar which was Men’s Leadership, or MLS. They offer a Men’s and Women’s leadership seminar which are different due to the different roles the sexes play. Once again, this seminar topped the first two and I really learned to lead myself. Learn to lead yourself and others will follow. I started a couple new companies after this and my business and personal life blossomed. This seminar was just about the most difficult thing I have ever been through, both mentally and physically. It was not a walk in the park. However, any adult can do it if they want to.
I’ll write more later, I’m going to make an espresso…

I went on to the next seminar a few months later. It was called Principia and was kind of like graduation. I decided to drive there from Phoenix and spent time in Yosemite, San Diego, and Las Vegas. At Principia I met some AMAZING people and the speakers were awesome. Everyday there you attend a conference with different speakers. There I met the energetic Mark Victor Hansen, author of Chicken Soup for the Soul and a zillion other books. I met Dr. John F. Demartini, author of The Breakthrough Experience. He also started the Concourse of Wisdom which is a group of seminars on chiropratic and personal growth and achievement. Other noted speakers were Bob Proctor, Bambi Holtzer, and several others. The energy level at this 7 day conference was SO high, it lifted my spirit and brought me to a whole new level. We had several physical events also, one of which was fire walking!

The seminars I took were so life changing, you can’t really put it into words. I believe they can literally replace 10 years of therapy and can help anybody in their path to happiness and achievement. They not only lifted my personal attitude and others around me, they elevated my income. Some might say they are expensive, but what good is money without happiness?

Along the way I read some great life-changing books:

The Breakthrough Experience by Dr. Demartini

The author goes through a procedure which enables the reader to let go of traumatic experiences and see the love in everything. In a seminar of his I watched him take a lady through this process and within 2 hours she told the person that stabbed her that she forgave him and that she loved him. She basically moved on! He actually teaches this method in a seminar and claims he can take anybody through this within 4 hours and has done so thousands of times. I watched it first hand and it brought tears to my eyes.

Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill

Written in 1907, the author was commissioned by Andrew Carnegie to interview 500 of the top minds in the world to find out how they got there. It can show anybody how to change their thinking and grow rich. After 100 years, amazingly this book ranks around the top 300 in sales on Amazon.com. Some call it the grandaddy of all motivational literature. I’ve read it once, and I plan on reading again and again.

The Secret

I watch this movie at least once a month and it has a phenomenal effect on my life and results. It seems the more often I watch it, the happier I am. When I am down, it picks me up and reminds me of how to get to where I want to be. It’s similar to What The Bleep, but gives clear directions on how to achieve results.
