Start Where You Stand

Press Play And Read On:

Do not wait; the time will never be just right. Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along. - Napoleon Hill

I find myself doing this all the time. I say to myself, when so-and-so happens, then I will start whatever it is that I am afraid to start. For example, when I get more money, I will hire people to work on my internet projects and make millions. But this is backwards, because I will have the money I seek once the projects are finished. So I later decided to start the project anyways and the money to fund it just appeared.

And so one of my new mottos is - If I don’t start now, I NEVER will. And I found that all of the people that I see that are successful in whatever they do, start wherever they stand. There is little hesitation. Then there are the talkers and dreamers. They talk, talk, talk about everything they are going to do. And nothing ever happens. If you never begin, you will never fail. That is safe. But having dreams and never even trying to reach them is worse than failing in my book.
