Firewalking

Soon, my wife and I shall be firewalking! I am so excited. For the last week we’ve been getting our house ready for closing (we’re selling a home), and I’ve been doing last years taxes. So to say it lightly, we are quite stressed. So all of this has to be done before we leave for Principia. And since you probably don’t know what that is, Principia is the last in a series of spiritual or personal growth seminars that we have been attending. We went last year and it was amazing to say the least.

They hold it on a 1000+ acre ranch up in the wine country area north of Napa Valley, California. Each year they have influential speakers on various enlightening subjects. Last year we got to see Mark Victor Hansen, Bob Proctor, John Demartini, and several others whose names escape me. We also did some awesome activities which included firewalking. And let me tell you, firewalking was an amazing experience and it’s no trick. They started with 4 foot tall piles of wood and burned them down to coals. They tested the temperature and it was over 1000 degrees. And I walked across a 6 foot pile of coals with no burns twice. Wow, what an experience. The last time the coals actual felt cold.

And in a day or so, my wife and I will be done with our chores and headed off on a drive from Phoenix to Clearlake, California. The energy level at Principa is like no other. All 400 plus attendees have gone through at least 3 other seminars including the 4 day Basic, the 7 day PSI 7 seminar, and the Men’s or Women’s Leadership seminar which is 10 and 9 days respectively (I guess the Men need an extra day for this one). So everybody there is on the journey to personal enlightenment. And you can feel the energy of 400+ spiritual people. It’s like no other place on earth.

I hope to be able to write more posts here while I am there for the 7 days.
